Today my every thought and action is with my dear friend and her family. I love you so, so much.

Yeah, you know I come from a long line of badasses, right? First there was Gustav Adolph (the Warmonger Badass), then there was James "Jim" Bowie (Frontier Badass), then there is my cousin Joy Manthey (River Pilot/Nun badass), and now there is my uncle, who as you can see in the picture to the right, is a badass. Other than being a respected E.R. doctor who stayed at Ochsner during Katrina, an athlete, a father of four lovely girls, and all around awesome guy, Richard is apparently exceptionally talented at looking like he is ready to kick some mental health butt. Represent. Don't you think he looks like Dolph Lundgren? Although I would hope that one of my uncle's famous quotes is not "If he dies...he dies."

I would like to send a shout out to all my friends who have had recent birthdays. Angela, Susan, Brian, and my dad. I love you all, even you, Dad.

Wikipedia is a go! Think of all the time you spend surfing MySpace and assfancy.com and roll that into increasing your knowledge. Every time I pull it up and it imbues me with the facts that I need without hesitation, I feel like Neo emerging from one of his Matrix learning sessions. Bzzzzzt! "I know Kung Fu..."
